|  | The police music festivals from 1981 to 2006 were all planned and organized by an organising commitee, which mainly consists of members of the police music of the city of Zurich city. The new association "policemusicfestival.ch", founded on June 19, 2007 will now organize the 2010 festival. The majority of the members in the association are members of the Zurich’s police music. Further member of the marketing and communication industry complete the team of professionals for this event. .
According to article 2 of the bylaws, the purpose of the association is planning, preparation and implementation, at specific time intervals, of an international police music festivals of national and international importance which is held in Zurich. As an organizer of the forthcoming International Police Music Festival, the association is constituted under the leadership of its President André Beck and its specially for the festival implemented organizing team.
